Green Discovery Laos is recruiting a Korean Market Business Developer To help the current team achieve the objectives set by the defined strategy for the years to come, theKorean Market Business Developershall initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market and to generate income. She/he will be working closely with general management and will rely on solid teams in sales & operations, finance, and marketing to achieve her/his objectives. The Business Development Manager shall o Proactively develop and improve Green Discovery products and services for Walk-In, FITs and the professional clientele, like · Designing and developing new tours and activities, · Recruiting and training of staff when required, · Coordinating the teams’ synergy, · Cost management and defining mark-ups according to added value o Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients o Set sales targets and define/optimize the strategy to achieve these targets o Coordinate/improve issues concerning standards like ethics, safety, hygiene, equipment and other conditions of operations with clients and GDL teams o Maintain the business development databases o Support marketing activities, including trade/shows, mailings, website, etc. o Discuss in confidence strategic and sensitive issues with management The Business Development Manager must have · A good business sense · A good knowledge of Laos and the tourism sector (min. 3 years of relevant experience) · A deep understanding of marketing principles · Good communication and negotiation skills · Plenty of energy and (self-) initiative · Fluent Korean, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite, along with professionally functional English · Good Computer literacy If interested, please contact email@example.com with a CV and cover letter.
